| Confidentiality |
| Hospitalitycareernetwork offers the candidate complete confidentiality. We have implemented features so your personal contact information remains hidden from employers when posting a resume. This allows an employer to view your skills but not know who you are. To mark yourself confidential, you can check the box on the “my resume page” or on the “my profile” page.
|
| As a confidential candidate, what does an employer see on my resume page? |
| After you have registered and completed the resume page, your resume will be searchable by employers. By marking yourself confidential, all personal contact information you entered when you registered will be omitted (name, email address, phone number). IMPORTANT: If you are cutting and pasting your existing resume into the “paste your resume” box, and you wish to remain a confidential candidate, do not paste any personal contact information. Our system will not omit any information from that box. |
| How will employers be able to contact me? |
| If you are a confidential candidate, and an employer is interested in contacting you, our system will notify you of that interest. The employer’s name will appear in your “Employer Interest” box on your “My Profile” page. You will then have the option of releasing your personal information to that employer by clicking a link. Of course, if you are applying to a job through our site, all of your information will be released to the employer. |

| Posting a Resume |
| Hospitalitycareernetwork has made it simple to post your resume. Once you are on the "My Resume" page, all you need to do is complete a few pre-selected fields (such as your "position seeking"). Then, go to the "Paste and Format Your Resume" section. There you can paste your existing resume into the field, and format it in any way you wish! This includes changing fonts, bolding text, and much more! To view editor help click here. When the employer views your resume, it will look exactly that way you want it to.
|
| My resume is quite long, will I still be able to post it on hospitalitycareernetwork? |
| Our resume field can support up to 40,000 characters, so you should have plenty of room to fit your resume or cv. IMPORTANT: Our resume field may add some additional HTML coding (this is not visible) that allows for the formatting process. This will count towards the 40,000 character limit, but again, space should not be an issue. |

| 20 20 Skills® Assessment |
| You can see and overview of your assessment results on the "Member Network" page, as well as viewing your detailed assessment analysis. Click on the "matching companies" link to view companies that assess similar to you. To mark your assessment confidential, click "confidential" in the assessment box. |
| Why should I take the skills assessment? |
| hospitalitycareernetwork.com is the only service offering a complete skills analysis. Taking the 20 20 Skills Analysis™ will match you with companies that have employees with similar thought processes to yours. Taking the assessment is a way to set yourself apart from other candidates, and as a result it makes it easier for you to find the RIGHT job. |

 |
| Job Search |
| You can refine your search any number of ways, by highlighting fields that you want to view in your job search. You can also sort the results by categories to better organize your job search process. |
| Do I need to check the site daily for new jobs? |
| Many hospitality companies are continuously posting new jobs online. When a job posting that matches your preferences and assessment scores is posted, you will be automatically notified by email to check the site. However, we also suggest checking the site weekly so you can take advantage of new features and updates including our columns, resources, and polls. |
 |
|
|
|
 |
| Employer Interest |
| Anytime an employer saves your resume to their favorites section (an indication that have viewed your resume and that have shown an interest in you), you will see that employers name in the employer interest box on the "Member Network" page. This would be a good time to research that company in our employer resources section to be prepared in the event that they do contact you. You could also consider applying for a job posted by that company that you might be interested in. If you have marked your resume confidential, and would like only that employer to view it, you can release your resume to just that employer. |
| How do I get more companies to match my preferences for a career? |
| As the site is growing, we suggest that you use the "all categories" fields to search for careers, and then gradually narrow your search. |
 |

 |
| Applying for a Job |
| After searching for a job and selecting a specific job detail, you can apply for that job directly by clicking on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the page, and your resume will be sent to that employer. It is then up to the employer if they want to go ahead and contact you directly. |
